In Part 2 of the IELTS Speaking test you have to speak for minutes on a topic which the examiner will give you on a card so you can see the points you need to talk about. You will be given 1 minute to think and plan your answer, some paper and a pencil to make notes, and then you will have to speak about the topic on the card for minutes. The examiner will not ask you any questions while you are speaking. All topics are about your personal life experience and how you feel about certain things. IELTS Speaking Topics January to April 2021
The examiner will give you a cue card along with a paper and pencil, and as soon as you get the cue card, you have to start preparing for the topic. You will get 1 minute to prepare on the topic given. The examiner will let you know when to start speaking. Speak continuously until the examiner asks you to stop.
You have to speak up to two minutes about a given topic. You will have one minute to prepare before you start talking. He or she will provide you with a piece of paper and a pen so that you can take notes and look at them while speaking. In the second section candidates are given a topic card and then have one minute to prepare after which they must speak about the given topic.
